Notice anything new around here?
A lot sure has changed since August 1st! It’s been the mini-evolution of me…
OK, so it’s not that dramatic but things are sure different! I wanted the look of Be Positive Mom to reflect a new chapter in my life.
For first-time visitors, welcome! I will put it all in a quick nutshell for you.
If you’ve been around a while and wondering where the more personal posts have been, I’ll catch you up on that stuff, too!
At the beginning of August, I was let go from my company after 7 years. Don’t shed any tears for me because frankly, I didn’t!
While I can’t go into detail, I can say that I just about skipped, danced and squealed with delight as I headed out the door and drove that commute for one last time.
That same week, my hubby and I went to my 20-year high school reunion. We got all dolled up for it. That was a fun night!
I also got our little guy settled into Kindergarten. He was a trooper and so excited to start his new school. I was very proud of him!
To round things out, I am just about ready to “officially” launch my new business…. shh, I am putting some things in place before I announce it. That has really been a journey getting the biz up and running!
Nothing stands still for very long in this wonderful thing we call life, does it!?
Just when I start to get settled more change, a hiccup or big life event happens that makes me remember that gratitude is so important.
I’m grateful you are here and reading my little blog called Be Positive Mom. I am saying ”good-bye” to my baby girl’s laptop image that represented Be Positive Mom® for the last year and a half as we move into the new.
I’m not sure what this chapter will bring yet, I can assure you all the “stuff” above didn’t happen perfectly or without a hitch. Tears, fears, doubt and insecurities reared their ugly heads throughout all of it… which is coming in a blog post very soon. Hey! Maybe that will be the title…
Big transitions don’t happen without a few “Oh Sh%*!” moments or wondering if I made the right decisions. That’s the beauty of the journey.
What I know for certain when I look at the pictures above is that I can’t help but smile as I think about how lucky I am to have been here for it all. I’m excited about what will come next!
